On the drugs alone, a quarter to two fifths of what comes off is muscle and other lean tissue. With strength training in the plan, about a sixth.
STEP 1 and SURMOUNT-1 DXA sub-studies; 2026 meta-analysis of 20 trials.GLP-1 care that keeps your strength
Lose the weight.
Keep the strength.
A prescriber, a registered dietitian and a strength coach, working from the same numbers, in one app. Brand-name medication at the manufacturer’s price. A short strength session that fits how you feel today.
The numbers
The scale only tells you half.
What the trials and cohorts actually measured, drawn to scale.
Fewer than half get enough protein to protect muscle. The app sets your gram target from your weight and the dietitian reads the log each month.
Frontiers in Nutrition, 2025; ACLM, ASN, OMA and TOS joint advisory, 2025.In a real-world cohort of nearly 8,000 patients, 34% lost more than 5% of their lean body mass in the first year. Older, female and low-protein starters were the most likely.
EHR cohort, 2026 preprint. How it works
One log. Three people reading it.
Every screen you see here is the app itself. Log four things a week and the plan writes itself.
Log the shot.
Tap the site on the body map. The app suggests the next spot in the rotation, counts down your pens and sets the refill date. Your prescriber set the dose; the app only records it.

Check in for thirty seconds.
Nausea, tiredness, appetite. On a rough day the session gets shorter and the food picks turn gentle: skyr, broth, a cold shake. On a good day you get the full twenty minutes.

Do the session the day fits.
Six moves, a chair, a band, your living room. It gets lighter in the days after a shot and harder only when the reps are there two sessions in a row.

Your team reads the same numbers.
Check-ins go to the prescriber before the follow-up. The protein log goes to the dietitian. The monthly strength check goes to everyone, in one summary you never have to write.

Watch what the scale misses.
Weight, yes. Also the lean share of what you lose, chair stands month over month, protein days, sessions in the calendar. The things that decide whether the loss lasts.

Your care team
Three people, one plan, the same numbers.
Most GLP-1 programs hand you a prescription and a chat window. Voima puts a prescriber, a dietitian and a coach on one plan, and every one of them reads what you actually logged.
Video visits, brand-name medication.
A licensed physician or nurse practitioner sees your check-ins and dose log before every follow-up.
Protein first, sized to you.
Reads your log monthly. Nausea days and low-appetite weeks handled with food, not slogans.
Two sessions a week that fit the shot cycle.
Six moves, twenty minutes, at home with a chair and a band. Lighter in the days after a shot.
From the manufacturer’s pharmacy.
Zepbound, Wegovy or the new pills at the published self-pay price. No markup, no compounded copies.
The app
Five tabs. Nothing you have to remember.
Real screens from the current build, with a real month of one person’s log. Everything stays on the phone, encrypted.

Evidence
Two things protect muscle. The app is built around both.
Protein at 1.2 to 1.7 grams per kilo a day, and resistance training at least twice a week. That is the 2025 joint advisory, and it is the whole program.
- 1.2 to 1.7 g/kg
Daily protein during weight loss with strength training. Voima sets your number from adjusted body weight and splits it over the day.
ACLM, ASN, OMA and TOS joint advisory, 2025 - 2 to 3 a week
Resistance sessions covering the major muscle groups. Six moves, twenty minutes, a chair and a band count.
Joint advisory 2025; ACSM 2026 - About 17%
Lean share of weight lost in people who do both, against 25 to 39% on the medication alone.
2026 meta-analysis of 20 randomised trials - 72 hours
The window after a weekly shot when nausea and tiredness cluster. Sessions in that window are shorter and lighter by design.
Product labels for semaglutide and tirzepatide; check-in data - 0.8 kg a month
Average regain after stopping. Exercise is what holds the loss in the follow-up studies, which is why the program continues after the prescription.
STEP 1 extension; S-LiTE follow-up

Your data
On your phone, encrypted, and yours to delete.
Everything you log is encrypted with AES-256 before it is written, with the key kept in your phone’s secure enclave.
Turn it on and the app asks for Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode every time it opens, and hides itself in the app switcher.
The data, the key and the setting are removed from the phone. There is no copy anywhere else to chase.
No analytics, no crash reporting, no ad or social kits. The only network calls are a barcode lookup and, if you add your own key, a food search.
What we will not do
The lines we do not cross.
Only your prescriber changes your medication. The app records what they set, and never proposes going up, down or off.
Brand-name medication from the manufacturer’s own pharmacy, at its published price. No markup, no “same active ingredient” claims.
Voima is about strength, energy and keeping what you have built, not about size.
No ad pixels, no analytics brokers. Your health data moves only between you and your care team, under a signed agreement.
For prescribers and clinics
Offer Voima to the patients you already treat.
You see protein adherence, sessions, monthly strength checks and side-effect trends, so the follow-up starts from data instead of memory. A signed business associate agreement before the first patient.

Waitlist
Be first when Voima opens.
